About Us
The Family Life Worship Center is a innovative ministry full of energy, youth and people who are not afraid to worship. Our faith in and relationship with Jesus Christ is the center of our belief. We are taught how to apply the Word of God so we can have a meaningful relationship with our Creator and our loved ones.
Is FLWC the place for you?
The Family Life Worship Center has 2 locations: our Kensington Branch and our Olney Branch. Our Kensington Branch is located on the corner of Kip and Cambria Streets (240 E Cambria Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134). We enjoy an intimate sized, multicultural congregation with an average age of 25. Our worship style encompasses all gifts and talents including but not limited to Music, Singing, Dancing, Acting, Video Production, Interactive Media & Web Design, Sound & Technology and more. Our Olney Branch is located on the NW corner of Tabor Road at Rising Sun Ave. where we have our LIFE Class.
Is there a Dress Code?
There is no set dress code. We leave that up to the Holy Spirit. Translation: Don't wear anything that will offend or entice someone else. You never know what people are secretly or not so secretly dealing with!
What can you expect?
You can always expect teaching that is practical, bible based, unwavering, enlightening, life changing and permeating. You can expect to meet people who are kind, thoughtful, non draining, considerate, loving and caring. You can expect to worship honestly, without shame, purely. You can expect to cry out and get deliverance.
Great! When can I come?
LIFE (Literal Instructions For Empowerment) Class: Our bible study is every Tuesday at 6:45pm at our Olney branch. Prayer starts at 6pm sharp!
Our worship services are every Sunday at 10am and 6pm at our Kensington branch.
